Fish Wishes IV

The third Fish Wishes is here.
-----

If wishes were fishes
I'd have quite a shoal --
(My beautiful fishes
Are what make me whole)

They'd all glide together
O'er wave and through sea
Carrying messages
Betwixt you and me.

What happens to fishes
When my heart, it grieves?
They dart and they flurry
As wind scatters leaves.

My fish are afraid of
My heart turned to stone --
It sinks to the bottom,
Rests there, all alone.

Perhaps in the stillness
(In shade, but not gloom)
Hope will again flower,
And algae will bloom.

Magnificent fishes
Please swim back to me --
And feast in sea garden
Grown green, just for thee.
